Compared to a water-cooled unit, this unit's air-cooled condensing system is practical and greatly reduces how much water is needed each day. Designed to create half-size ice. It has an acoustical ice sensing probe that monitors the cubes thickness, ensuring each cube is 3⁄8 inch by 1 1⁄8 inches by 7⁄8 inch. A DuraTech clear coat exterior fights stains and provides corrosion resistance even better than stainless steel. Certain internal components are removable for maintenance and cleaning.
